Prospre is a cross-platform meal planning and nutrition tracking app available on iOS, Android, and Web. My co-founder and I built this together from a rough prototype to a production app serving thousands of users.
Meal planning is tedious. People who track macros spend hours every week piecing together meals that fit their calorie and macro goals. Existing tools either gave you a static template or left you to figure it out yourself.
We saw an opportunity to automate the hardest part — generating a full week of meals that actually hit your numbers, taste good, and fit your preferences.
Set your calorie and macro targets, dietary restrictions, and preferred cuisines — the algorithm generates a full weekly plan optimized across every dimension. Swap meals, lock favorites, regenerate on the fly.
Log food via search across USDA and custom databases, barcode scanning, nutrition label OCR, or voice input. Track daily macros against your goals.
Browse, create, and save custom recipes. Recommendations surface recipes by cuisine classification and user preferences.
Auto-generate grocery lists from meal plans and check out directly through Instacart or Amazon Fresh.
Export nutrition, weight, and water data to Apple Health and Google Health Connect so everything lives in one place.
Personalized coaching based on adherence scoring, calorie adjustments, and macro recommendations to help users stay on track.
Collaborated on the product roadmap, ran user research, and helped shape prioritization decisions throughout the life of the product.
Built features end to end — from database schema design and API development to the UI components users interact with daily.
Contributed to core systems including real-time data sync between Redux and Firestore, and a multi-platform navigation system spanning 60+ screens.
Instrumented the product, analyzed user behavior, and ran experiments to improve retention and conversion.
